We always knew that superanuation was not the be all and end all. We also knew my superanuation was never going to be sufficient for our retirement.

In the past we pretty much fluked our entry into the investment property market. While did well out of it on both occasions, in hindsight we were lucky.

Your advice has assisted us in making an educated and informed decision when re-entering the investor property market. It has also helped us step out of our “comfort zone”. We would have looked at a P & I loan & the magnitude of the payments. We would have considered this as way too much debt. While we would have called it an investment in name, we would have never understood or appreciated the investment as we would have lived every day in a state of fear, concern, worry and all things not at all positive as we struggled to make the P & I payments. We would never had enjoyed the experience & in all honestly would have sold it, or worse – off loaded it whether we broke even or not.

What PIC has done is shown us how to truly invest in property, and not see the loans as worrisome debt, but as part of our overal investment strategy. Make no mistake, we do know it is a lot of money, and we need to respect and understand that, but we do not have to have sleepless nights. (We don’t have sleepless nights btw).

I see us as novices in the investor property market, and continue to rely on you all for advice, especially as we look forward to expanding our portfolio (a term I once considered wanky and used by similarly titled persons).
